Mental Coaching

Mental Coaching stands for the individual coaching of mental processes by a coach to achieve personal objectives. It uses cognitive methods to generate new solutions and overcome inner limitations.

Coaching  helps you turn negative thoughts into positive ones. You gain more insight into your own behavior and how you can change it. As a result, you are able to achieve better results. You develop   yourself quicklyer. This way you restore the balance between your physical and mental strength and you quickly regain control of your life.

We all live in systems such as our families, work, associations and our circle of friends. Many of our unconscious beliefs, behaviors and patterns originate in the systems in which we grew up. We have included reinforcing and limiting patterns, often out of loyalty. You can encounter these patterns in your current life within new systems, for example your relationship or your work.

YourCore Mind Coaching works with you from a dynamic perspective process of coaching, inspired by systemic thinking, the polyvagal theory en NLP. In 3 phases, perceptions are highlighted, new insights are born and perspectives are developed by one's own strength:

  3fases:

  • Compound       -  'Ist' en 'Soll" van uw levenssituatie; verbinden, mirror (report)

  • bridging            -  'Inside-Out /Outside-In'; bridging to a new perspective

  • Conviction       -    Reframing Perceptual Filters and Change of Personal History by  co-regulation

Stress & Fear Coaching

Stress is necessary to a certain extent to function properly, but unhealthy stress arises when your body is not given enough time to recover. This is the case, for example, if you suffer from stress for a long time in a row.

Common stress and fear symptoms are:

  • accelerated heart rate and breathing

  • fear and panic attacks

  • unstable self-image

  • suicidal thoughts

  • mood swings

  • rushed feeling

  • get angry quickly, cry

  • worrying, sleeping badly

  • tiredness, low energy

  • much or little appetite

  • headache, upset stomach, neck pain

A fear and worry disorder usually develops gradually. For example, you notice that you prefer to be alone. You avoid new situations. You are scared quickly or are often frightened. These types of anxiety symptoms can turn into an anxiety and worry disorder.

It is often not entirely clear why someone develops an anxiety and worry disorder. Usually several circumstances cause:

  • Sometimes fear disorders run in families. It can be hereditary.

  • The family in which someone grows up and the way parents raise a child can contribute to an anxiety disorder.

  • People who find it difficult to get along with others, who receive little support, are bullied and feel lonely are more likely to have an anxiety disorder.

  • A fear disorder can arise after a serious, traumatic event in which someone was very frightened (psychotrauma).

  • A fear disorder can also be caused by a physical illness, the use of certain medicines or the use of drugs.

A fear and worry disorder can cause you to suffer from:

  • worry

  • restlessness

  • irritability

  • poor concentration

  • tension

  • fatigue

  • muscle complaints

  • sleep problems

YourCore Mind Coaching helps and guides you to restore the balance between stress, fear and relaxation.

This can be done in several ways:

By looking at how you can reduce your own tax. For example, by learning to delegate work more or divide the tasks at home differently.

In principle, the program of 5 or 10 sessions is recommended for Stress or fear Coaching.

Burnout Coaching

A burnout is a relatively serious form of work-related overstrain with a longer course.

Characteristic is a long history of stress complaints and emotional exhaustion.

Stressfulness is a clinical picture characterized by tension complaints. Overwork is seen as the result of an imbalance between factors that cause stress and a persons processing capacity.

Freudenberger and North have defined 12 stages in the process of burnout. Most people go through these steps in the process before ending up in a burnout. The 12 phases do not necessarily have to be completed in a chronological order.

In principle, the program of 20 sessions is recommended for Burnout Coaching.
